Coach Norm Shepard put the varsity basketball team through a game-type scrimmage against M.I.T. last night in the I.A.B. and came up with some very surprising results. The Crimson won, 60 to 46, as expected, but it took sophomore Harry Sacks' 22 points and good teamwork by several of his classmates to beat the perennially outclassed Engineers...

Five lettermen started the first quarter for Shepard, and for a while the Crimson looked distressingly like last year's team, which shot awkwardly and rebounded poorly. At the end of the period, the varsity was behind, 13 to 10. The second M.I.T. team then came in to face an all-sophomore quintet for the Crimson, which quickly pulled in front to stay for the rest of the scrimmage...
