Concerning the "revised standard version" my primary reaction was that for the sake of consistency the veritas in the University seal should be changed to truth, spaced: (TR-UT-H). The "H" could then be enlarged to represent the varsity letter, ad the base of the shield consequently squared off to conform with the shape of the paper (and the wit of the administration). With this further revision the Veritas Committee itself would thus be assured that there will no longer be any foreign language in our official dialect...
