Heidi Zamecnik's "Be Happy, Not Gay" T shirt sent a clear and disenfranchising message to homosexual youth that they are not O.K. This is not the kind of dialogue that should take place in an academic environment. I'd bet that Heidi's intolerance comes from parental influence.
