...playing which followed in the line-up was sharp and full of spirit. Captain Marshall could not join in the practice owing to a wrenched knee, and Schoelkopf and Hanley were given only light work, as the former is at present out of condition and Hanley has a lame shoulder. Bowditch was cut for the first time and joined in the line-up. Nichols was tried at punting, and Mills was put in at fullback...

...donor, is a worthy companion to the beautiful Meleager and Aprodite before acquired. The figure, like most others of Greek antiquity that have lately been brought to light, is badly injured by the loss of important parts. The nose, both legs below the knees, the right arm below the shoulder, and the left arm above the elbow are gone; but the fragment which remains is superb. ...this afternoon on account of the absence of Graydon and Kernan. A. Marshall, who played right guard in last Saturday's game with Bates, has a lame back and will be given a rest for a few days. Hovey will take his place. Graydon's injury is in his shoulder and though the trouble is not serious, he will not be used unless necessity demands it. Kernan's leg is practically well again but it has been thought best not to risk a strain until it has regained its strength. Bowditch is not in very good condition and will...
