...women sing in the shower fantasizing that they have wonderful voices, but one such crooner actually does have a vocal gift. Football back SCOTT MCCABE--who apparently serenades his teammates in the locker room and the injured in the Dillon House training room--will be exercising his vocal chords at next Friday's Quincy House dance when the band he sings in makes its debut as the opening act. The Fuses are a band featuring three sophomores, two juniors, and one senior...

...senior year of the class of 1823 brought to a climax their animosity, their pranks and their reckless insubordination. The "Blacks" continued to inform on these antics, and the rest of the class harrassed and vexed this moralistic minority. On March 10, 1823, "A large shower bath belonging to Dorr [a "Black"] was taken from the fourth story of Stoughton, and having been filled with wood, etc. was burnt at midnight in the middle of the College Yard in commemoration of the second anniversary of the Blacklist...

...question is "I didn't think about that because it's a pretty stupid things to think about." In his essay "Soap", for example, Rooney complains that "A lot of (soaps) are different colors, too. They're green and brown. Soap should be white... When a person takes a shower and looks down, he doesn't want to see a lot of colors running off him." Did you ever worry about that? Probably not. That joke might have been saved on television, with Rooney standing in a shower stall with a funny bathing cap or something...
