This afternoon occur the spring class sports on Holmes field. These games serve the purpose of a trial for the university games which are to be held soon after, and furnish a special opportunity for new men to show their prowess. We hope that the freshman class will show up well in these games as it is from this class that the vacant places on the 'varsity team must be filled. A large number of men should be present this afternoon to encourage the contestants and to take the first opportunity of seeing the work that has been done...
