...University baseball team suffered its fourth successive defeat yesterday afternoon when it was shut out by Amherst, 3 to 0. This game, in which Harvard secured but one hit, coming just three days before the Princeton game, makes the outlook anything but encouraging. Lanigan throughout the game was invincible, and only one man reached second, which was the result of an error.
