...Oleg gets kidnapped by a frighteningly cheerful couple with a beautiful apartment who enjoy kidnapping, torturing, and killing children, filming the whole thing. It makes for some nicely creepy “things are not as they seem” moments, but ultimately the only purpose of this lengthy sidetrack??which has nothing whatsoever to do with the other main characters or storyline—is to get the audience to cheer when Joey’s wife shoots them.
