Later that night, several of us left our hotel and walked the streets of Havana. It was about four in the morning. We noticed a Cuban couple strolling calmly down a dimly lit sidewalk. We passed them to their right--they smiled and waved. As we walked further into the housing area, we called out to two people who were leaning out a window enjoying the early morning air.
