Princeton, N. J., November 2, 1911.--The University football team held its last hard work before the Harvard game this afternoon. In a half-hour scrimmage the first team scored twice on the scrubs, and later on were put through a long signal drill. With the exception of the offensive work of the line, practice was very satisfactory. Pendleton and Wilson rested again, watching from the sidelines...
...later on the University team played for 25 minutes with the substitutes. Neither of these scrimmages was very hard, and in neither of them was any score made. Punting played a large part in the latter, Black-all kicking for the substitutes and Pierce for the regulars. A short signal drill concluded the day's work...
