...minutes too long--is about the Bowman-Gilligan collision, in which the former was knocked-out completely for an hour or so, being hit on a more vulnerable spot on his cranium than was Gilligan, who recovered in a minute or so. Just before swooning the plucky Cadet signal-caller is alleged to have said "Leave us sit down a minute, Tommy." We will not go bail for its absolute authenticity, but it is a nice little addition to the saga; and if true, it goes to prove once more that history repeats itself. During the early afternoon proceedings, Trainer, veteran guard, and Davis were found at left guard and right tackle respectively, but they were both on Team B in the signal drill. Faxon...

Last week it was White, but he was playing on Team B yesterday afternoon...
Later in the afternoon a signal practice was held for all of the first four teams. Following this the Gray team was brought onto the practice field, wearing its crimson jerseys. It lined up against the first string and ran through the Harvard plays with more success than the coaches had anticipated. The lateral pass plays were especially effective against the first and second strings, and Coach Cannell was not at all satisfied with the showing of the squad as a whole when the afternoon session was called on account of the descending darkness. Tomorrow afternoon will see the Green...
