Yesterday morning the Committee on the Admission of Students held a meeting to pass on the results of the fall examinations for admission to the College. A similar meeting was held for the night before. The results of these two meetings, giving the number of students admitted by examination to both departments of the University, were made known yesterday afternoon. The figures do not include "dropped freshmen"; on the other hand a small fraction of the students admitted will not appear in the catalogue list of the freshman class.
