...disheartening 2-1 loss to the Tigers was the Crimson’s ninth game decided by one point. “The Princeton game was my first start...and I think I ended up having a great first game in goal,” sophomore goalie Siobhan Connolly said. A replacement for injured freshman starter Kelly Knoche, Connolly denied eight Tiger shots and held a 1-0 lead at halftime, courtesy of senior midfielder and captain Jen McDavitt. But Princeton scored twice in the second frame to steal the game from the Crimson. Harvard then went on to close...

...guru-ness” reminiscent of Thomas Haden Church’s well-meaning sidekick character in “Sideways.” Despite its flaws, “Tennis, Anyone?” does have some very clever moments. Maeve Quinlan’s Siobhan Kelly, the celebrity interviewer for The Tennis Channel, provides an avenue for Logue and Fox to poke ribald fun at the culture at “Charity Classics.” She interviews screaming, enthusiastic celebrities of all sorts, including an uproariously funny rapper who tells the camera with a straight face...

In all but three games, the Crimson has limited opponents to two goals or less. Yet despite several second-half scoring opportunities, Harvard could not find...

...Crimson’s side as this year’s seniors have never lost to BU. When play began, the Crimson was caught on its heels as the Terriers controlled possession in the opening minutes of the game. The Harvard defense held strong behind sophomore goalie Siobhan Connolly who was making her second collegiate start in place of injured freshman Kelly Knoche. Connolly saved six shots on goal on the day while her Terrier counterpart, Erin Prediger, posted five saves in the victory. After a scoreless first half, Harvard improved its offensive game with senior forward Beverlie Ting scored...
