The performance was distinctly above mediocrity, but there was little acting that could be called brilliant except, perhaps, Miss Annie Clarke's Lady Teazle. Mr. Eben Plympton, as Charles Surface, was far less stilted than usual. Mr. Charles Barron's Sir Peter Teazle was interesting, but hardly a just conception of the part.
