...freshman crews left for Gale's Ferry, New London, where they are now training for the annual boat races with Harvard. Through the generosity of P. Whitney '98, captain of the 1898 crew, the training at Gale's Ferry have lately been renovated and enlarged to twice their former size. Several members of the university squad have been given a short rest since the crews arrived at New London, as it was believed that they were slightly overtrained.
