...make a deliberate effort to ask for support from party regulars. I did call Mayor Daley, and he's going to meet me at the state fair in Illinois next Wednesday. We'll be touring the fairgrounds together. Some people with tender skin are going to be offended by that. But the fact remains that Mayor Daley is a power in Illinois.
