...Nuremberg in the 2006 football World Cup. The free education established by Nkrumah benefited Ghanaians and served as a model for all of Africa. Isn't it ironic that the 50th anniversary of Ghana's independence and the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the British slave trade fall in the same year? Time could have done Ghana's tourism industry a great favor by including photographs of some of the castles, beautiful sandy beaches and Lake Volta.
