Sloppy passing marred the opening of the second half as neither team could sustain much of a threat. Both teams were flat and the ball changed hands repeatedly.

Sloppy and unsettled passing characterized the level of play in the first half. Neither team produced any good scoring threat though the Jumbos did score midway through the half in a free-for-all at the goal mouth.
