Heroic Albanians. Whoever was responsible for the flare-up by the canal, it was obvious that it is going to be a painfully slow business to work out a settlement in the Middle East. Nor is the U.N. offering much practical help. After Soviet Russia weighed in with a draft resolution demanding that Israel give up all it had won, delegates from Zambia, Somalia, Malaysia and Burundi read off lengthy speeches asking that Israel be condemned for attacking the Arabs and forced to retreat from Arab territory. ...movie attempts to portray the history of energy-first bursting from the sun, gradually disciplined and controlled by man. In fact, the film is little more than a series of violent images: arrows, acrobats, whirling lathes and ballet dancers, a time-lapse sunset, atomic explosions, water droplets in slow motion. Assaulted by three simultaneous images, the viewer is forced to become his own editor, selecting and retaining sense impressions as best he can -and emerging with a visual sense of energy that still remains unharnessed...
