Usage:

Folks who smoke more than 1 1/2 packs a day are supposed to start with the 4-mg pops and work their way down to 2 mg after a couple of weeks. ...spooky types, as proven by the recent show at the Middle East featuring Plaid, Nobukazu Takemura and Mira Calix. Alien atmospherics were the theme of the night, with the downstairs lounge of the Middle East and clumps of equally weird onlookers basking in light tinged sickly green. Clouds of smoke were penetrated by sheets of cacophonic noise draped over the occasional sullen bass boom, sounding like a malevolent heartbeat. ...Anti-smoking lobbyists persist in their fight for higher cigarette taxes, claiming that it keeps cigarettes away from teenagers and children. This claim is difficult to justify. Researchers at Cornell University just reported that the price elasticity of demand for cigarettes—how sales volume changes in response to price changes—is roughly zero for teens. That means that, within reasonable limits, teens will smoke about the same number of cigarettes no matter the price. Government statistics even show an increase in underage smoking in seven of eight states that have recently raised their cigarette taxes...
