...tool. After Mass each Sunday I would check out the list, and I can say without irony that it stoked my teenage interest in foreign films, from Ingmar Bergman's "Sawdust and Tinsel" (known in the U.S. as "The Naked Night") to Luis Bu?uel's "Los Olvidados." I would sneak off to see dirty films and - the joke was on me - discover classics of the cinema...
Castellanos's commercial begins as a fairly civil dismemberment of Al Gore's prescription plan and degenerates into what appears to be an astonishing sneak attack. White feathers repeat the white of her apron; a blue feather picks up the blue of her ribbon; a pink feather, the color of her cheek. It is as perfectly made as any sonnet. It makes you realize what rewards can flow from Chardin's desire to link the appearance...
...Hungarian national team. A surprise result from the U.S. Olympic Trials meant that Gyorffy will be up against some familiar competition in Sydney. Texas's Erin Aldrich--the only athlete to beat Gyorffy at NCAA Outdoors this past season--managed to twice avert disaster this weekend and sneak onto the U.S. Olympic Team...
