Berlin's last Broadway show didn't soar, but Gillette, my favorite soubrette, brings delicious perk and pout to this lament about a President's daughter who can't have fun. I'd put this rendition on the list even if Anita, way back then, hadn't been so sweet to a teenager (me) who sent her a fan letter. She treated him like a friend and not a stalker...
