There are all sorts of opportunities for activity of this kind. Night schools which the immigrant attends, boys' clubs designed for the benefit of young and lively Americans, and settlements in various localities, all need teachers and directors. Unusual interest is attached to the annual Social Service Conference which is to be held in Brooks House tonight at 8 o'clock because of the program of speakers, which includes President Lowell, R. W. Kelso '04, P. J. Stearns '13 and N. L. Tibbetts '15. The meeting will be open to all members of the University.
