...Gist: In its 10th annual report on air quality in the United States, the American Lung Association monitored sites across the nation from 2005 to 2007 in terms of ozone and particle pollution. Particle pollution, the lesser known of the two, refers to a mix of tiny solid and liquid particles (of varying sizes) in the air.
