Part of me hopes that the final clubs will ultimately refuse to go co-ed so that the controversy will continue to build. My fear is that if and when the clubs go co-ed, they will somehow become morally and socially acceptable. The issue will then die, leaving the University free of the pressure to take responsibility for its students...

Miserable wretches, most of us, clinging to some hope that writing for the mag will somehow serve as validation for our mistaken notions that we are cool...or at least cooler than the rest of the snivelling freaks that we imagine populate Harvard. But we are definitely not, with the possible exception of Molly and June, professionals...
...Crime has finally hit the big time. Last week when I called up WFNX and asked for some V.I.P. passes to their Landsdowne Street Birthday Party, they said no problem, and somehow, even knew how to spell my name (unlike the Crimson). And when they asked me if they should give a pass to some Harvard journal called The Perspective, I told them it was just a pansy-Commie rag not worth the paper it's printed on. No wonder I didn't see Jesse Furman around...
