HARVARD QUARTERS, NEW LONDON, June 17.- The 'Varsity crew is in perfect health and spirits, with the exception of Blake, whose cold is keeping him out of the boat. Kernan, who is in Blake's place at 2, is at present somewhat slow but will undoubtedly liven up by next Wednesday. That every one here is in a cheerful mood is an encouraging fact...
...success of Yale's experiment in the "Wigwam" is happily suggestive, however. Though it is inadvisable to continue the 1900 class club on a formal basis, it might with a somewhat different and more social organization still be carried on in the interests of Harvard debating. The usual "Lispings of Little Lew" also do not come up to expectations...

The club on the whole has been improving steadily and in the last concert kept together very well...
...lead in the first half of the game. Holy Cross played a plucky game throughout, but was unable to make a stand against Harvard's hitting. In spite of his lame side, Hayes proved very effective, and kept the hits well scattered. Toward the end, however, he let up somewhat, but not until after the game was well in hand...
