Although the Freshmen have won four of the six scheduled games played, their lack of well-organized attack makes the development of the team somewhat disappointing. Lack of ice for practice party accounts for the deficiency. The Freshmen have defeated Andover, Pomfret, Anlington High, and Milton Academy, but have lost to St. Mark's and St. Paul's. With the exception of the Andover and Arlington High games, the absence of team work has been conspicuous. The Yale team also lacks consistent team-work, but has had a fairly successful season...
...throughout a note of maturity, due no doubt to the peculiar atmosphere of Harvard as contrasted with other universities. The main editorial, dealing with the American stage through the medium of a lecture by Mr. Percy MacKaye, is a thoughtful and unusually serious statement of modern dramatic effort. If somewhat idealistic in tone, we must remember that the idealism of youth becomes oftentimes the truth of age. The quotation from Arnold is significant: "Organize the theatre! Fish, who will probably, start the game at centre, is still somewhat crude in his handling of the ball but covers closely and shows good head-work. His height and weight often give him a considerable advantage over his opponent, but in Van Vleck, the Yale centre, he will have an exceptionally fast man to contend with. The forwards, Allen and Currie...
...basket from the floor, but Brooks soon retaliated by scoring two lucky goals on long shots and placed Harvard in the lead. The half ended with the score of 15 to 6 in Harvard's favor. In the latter part of the second half the University line-up was somewhat weakened on the offence by the use of several substitutes. For Harvard, Brooks played a brilliant game, shooting four goals from the floor and blocking many of Tufts' chances to score. Currie also was up to his usual standard. For Tufts Getchell and Kimball excelled...
