Cornell will soon have a boat club similar to the Newell or the Weld if the present plans are carried out successfully. Experiments have for some-time been in progress at the University Museum to discover a better sort of tablet than is now used upon which the glass models of flowers may rest with safety. The results have been satisfactory. The new tablets are made of a white material which will not warp under any conditions. The surface is absolutely smooth and may be made to take any color: white, however, will probably be used entirely.
