Sirs: Your article, Nevada-"One Sound State" (TIME, March 8) is good with the exception of your statement concerning the climate of which you say: "-hot & dry in summer; so snow cold in winter that even the Governor gets ou and shovels." The climate is so varied in thi; big State that a simple "hot" or "cold" doe: not describe both ends of it at the same time Reno, for instance, does have cold, snowy win ters; but her summers are never hot.
