...fighting is taking a psychological toll on all who stay in the kibbutz, whether they admit it or not. Especially on me. Ordinary noises scare the hell out of me now. When I began last month's march from the Quad, it took me quite a while to get used to the sound of my own voice, and at first the words stuck in my throat.
