...line. Council members in part justified the investment in the concert by arguing that reduced ticket prices would make the Costello show more affordable than professionally produced concerts. Apparently, however, the council did not do the research necessary to know if that would be the case. Tickets, which SPA Vice Chairman Jeffrey A. Nachmanoff at first said would cost between $9 and $14, had to be sold at the higher price...
