Peters has a point. A report on Iraq to the U.N. Security Council last year stated: "The deficit in electric power as a result of damage inflicted and nonavailability of spare parts and equipment for maintenance is a serious problem throughout the country. ...It’s impossible not to love [Elephant by] the White Stripes. Their music recalls the raw sound of the ’60s blues and rock bands. On this, they finally achieve a really full sound that’s incredible given their spare instrumentation.
