...will watch all 14 hours of the documentary extras and, perhaps, the three films on their own, then with the two tracks of commentary, which means another 20 hours. All of which makes The Ultimate Matrix an ideal gift for that obsessive uncle or nephew who has nothing but spare time. (We're guessing that the fanatical rewatching of action-movie trilogies is pretty much a guy thing. A lonely-guy thing...
...Breen has pulled off feats that would have made lesser CEOs quake in their wing tips. He persuaded the entire board of directors of the disgraced company to resign, fired almost all its top corporate managers and faced down an $11 billion debt when he had no cash to spare. But there is one thing he is unwilling to do: celebrate. Tyco has finished its first solidly profitable year since its notorious former CEO, Dennis Kozlowski, turned the little-known industrial conglomerate into shorthand for greed. But Breen is not planning any parties (toga or otherwise). "If we lost...
...same spectrum of a single quality (in this case, base materiality). But of course the relationship between two works of art, let alone the works themselves, are never actually that simple.
