...Freshman hockey team easily defeated Stone's School yesterday afternoon in the Stadium by a score of 11 goals to 1. In every department of the game the 1910 team outplayed its opponents. The stick work, speed, team play, and ability to cover their opponents on the part of the Freshmen was very promising. The defense was little tested as the Stone's School forwards had few chances to shoot. Bullivant, however, got away with the puck early in the second half and made a rather easy goal...

Since the Christmas recess the University team has been steadily improving in team play, speed, and stick work; but it has not had enough opportunity to practice and to develop the game that its members are capable of. The forwards in the game with Springfield on Wednesday showed a tendency at times to be wild in shooting and to start far too slowly. Although the stickwork of both teams was inaccurate, the first at times showed good team work and speed. Dr. F. J.
