...eleven again did encouraging work yesterday afternoon. A good deal of time was spent by both the first and second elevens in practising their plays and signals, after which they lined up for two 30 minute halves. Acton's back is still lame and his place was taken by Wilson. Fairchild and Beal alternated on the first and second elevens, and Blanchard and Stevenson both played for a time at right end. Waters played a few minutes only. Gonterman did very well on the second and Johnson who was tried at halfback did some excellent running. Brewer played the game...
