harvard is not so surprised at the leniency of the Bennett Ryan sentence. The writer of Yesterday's editorial has obviously failed to appreciate the spirit with which the sentence was imposed. It was no intended as a punishment but rather as a technicality of the law which had to be pursued under the circumstances.
