...spite of the loss of seven valuable point winners from last year's team, the prospects for this season are, on the whole, encouraging. The success or failure of the team in the important meets will depend largely upon the regularity of work and training of the men who ought to win second and third places. There are several men from last year's Freshman team, who should obtain results this year, but the men from Yale's 1910 team are by no means to be over-looked. The University team will have back next spring...

Although not Harvard's regular punter, he was called on to do most of the kicking on account of Burr's being slightly overtrained and slow in getting his punts off. Newhall...

...spite of a drizzling rain last evening a crowd of 1500 enthusiastic students paraded through the Yard, then through Harvard square down to Mt. Auburn street, and back to the Yard again, cheering the football team. The meeting broke up in front of University Hall after cheers had been given for every member of the team and the coaches. The demonstration was entirely spontaneous and gave evidence to the confidence which the undergraduates have in the team, and to the general impression among the undergraduates that when the teams take the field on Saturday Yale will have to play better...
