Today is the last day of February, and across campus the World's Luckiest Kids are griping with a superhuman zeal. Midterms are approaching, the need to show leadership in extracurriculars is growing, and judging by that smell, a giant baby has spit up in your common room (or maybe that's just my common room). We Harvard students live in a tourist attraction with movie stars and geniuses; we're recognized on all continents as the crme of the brulee, the syrup on the pancakes of greatness. Ford joined the group of legislators pushing General Dwight Eisenhower to run for President. Soon Ford was on the delegation with Secretary of State John Foster Dulles to monitor the Korean cease-fire. Then he went to Saigon: "I remember the French generals with all their spit and polish giving us a two-hour briefing on how they were going to win the war in Vietnam." (I only know this because some wrestling brute with tattoos that spread continuously from his right pinky to his left decided to demonstrate. I wanted to ask him if getting all those tattoos had hurt, but was afraid of being spit on again.) The first fight involved someone in yellow leather (or pleather? I couldn't be sure, even with our proximity) pants fighting a Dracula-esque character with fangs and blood spurting out of his mouth. Dracula...
