Because of the great number of applicants for its 25 open places, the Glee Club itself is in a very healthy position. But many of its aspirants who failed to qualify are now stranded without a group to sing for. Through its sponsorship of the freshman chorus it has greatly increaser participation in choral singing at Harvard. Since the Club cannot enlarge its present membership and still remain a well-disciplined group, it should also sponsor a chorus for upperclassmen, similar to the freshman organization.
