...Outing for June is a very good number. One of the most interesting of its articles is "Yacht Voyages to Australia," by Mr. F. C. Sumichrast of the French department in the college. The piece is profusely illustrated throughout. "Sports, Pastimes, and Pleasures on the Cam, ' tells of the surroundings of the river flowing by the old university city of Cambridge, and some of the races on the stream are vividly described. "The Pleasure of Fly Fishing" is an entertaining article from beginning to end. It tells well the varied experience of the many who have enjoyed a summer...

...that such an insinuation as this in another college paper is both unfair and boastful, not at all in the spirit that should pervade intercollegiate athletics and opinions. Our lacrosse team was forced to disband, as we know, from manifest lack of support, with the conviction that the sport of lacrosse could not be maintained here in future. ...mass meeting yesterday afternoon showed that lacrosse has no hold whatever on the interest of the men in college. To many it has been evident for some time that the sport of lacrosse as an object of University interest and support, was doomed, and the meeting of yesterday afternoon has now fortunately settled the question.
