...perform - the wine smashed against the ship for its maiden voyage, as it were - was the Orquestra Sinfonica Brasileira, a symphony orchestra decked out with traditional (violins, etc) and modern (electric guitars, etc.) instruments. The Orquestra kicked things off with an ear-splitting version of Richard Strauss' "Also Sprach Zarathustra" - that's the theme from "2001: A Space Odessey" for those of you who don't follow classical music.
