There are bright prospects for a strong golf team this spring, as all but two members of the University team which won the intercollegiate championship last fall will play, and there is an abundance of excellent material with which to fill the vacancies. Arrangements have been completed with the Brookline Country Club and the Oakley Golf Club by which ten men will be allowed the use of each course for Spring practice. Last year the State Club of Maine, lowa, California, Ohio, Indiana, and Missouri were represented by teams, and the championship was won by the Maine Club. It is expected that all of these clubs will enter the series this spring, in addition to the recently formed New Hampshire club. Efforts will be made to have other state clubs enter also...
