Owing to a misunderstanding G. A. Lyon 2L., who won the spring tournament, did not play this fall. He entered the tournament, but was prevented from playing by the management, with the idea that he should meet the winner in the challenge round for the championship. As the championship, however, is decided in the fall and not in the spring, Lyon is not champion; but as the mistake was one in management Warland will play Lyon this afternoon at 2.30.
