...football game yesterday afternoon was won by Sargent's team by the score of 12-2. The game showed very fair kicking, and the line work, which was expected to be good, was very satisfactory. Both teams handled themselves much better than is usual in spring practice at this time. Sargent's team won by the gains which were made through their opponents' left tackle. Lee, Sherlock, Sargent and Gierasch did the best playing. Gierasch made the first touchdown, and the second was made by Motley after blocking Sawin's kick. The line-up was as follows...
