...committees representing Harvard and Yale, respectively, met at Springfield on Monday evening, and an agreement was reached in regard to the rules under which the race is to be rowed. It was also agreed that these rules should not be made public until they had been signed by the proper authorities of each boat club. That a decision has been reached so readily shows that there has been much unnecessary controversy.
