Last evening at the regular meeting of the Freshman Debating Club, the committee on the Yale debate made its report. On February 29 a conference was held at Springfield with the committee from Yale. It was agreed that Harvard should choose the subject and Yale the sides. The debate is to be held on the 15th of May in the Fogg Art Museum, and will be open to the public. This agreement was brought about by Cornell, for she, having made arrangements to row one race with Columbia and Pennsylvania, and another with Harvard, proposed that the two races be made into one quadrangular contest. The Springfield and Poughkeepsie courses have been considered, but no definite settlement has as yet been reached as to where the race will be rowed...
