...University lacrosse team defeated the strong Columbia team in the first game of the Northern intercollegiate Lacrosse League in the Stadium yesterday afternoon by the score of 5 to 2. The teams played evenly in the first half, which ended in a tie, each side having scored twice, although Columbia had a slight advantage.
