According to a statement by Hamilton Holt, an entire page of the "Independent" is to be edited by the Lampoon, the first issue to appear within a few weeks. This plan was originated by W. R. Burlingame '13, formerly of the Lampoon and now on the staff-of the "Independent." When it was decided to run a comic section in the "Independent," the idea was brought up of intrusting it to college men and the first issue under the new policy has been tendered to the Lampoon. Those interested in the Student Military Instruction Camps will today have an excellent opportunity to get detailed information concerning them. Captain R. O. Van Horn, General Staff of the U. S.
