...University football team defeated the eleven of the United States Military Academy at West Point in a hard contest last Saturday by the score of 12 to 6. Princeton gave a fine exhibition of football and surpassed West Point in every department of the game. Cooney and Stanard were the most to be depended upon for gains. Cooney scored both touchdowns and kicked the goals, and Stanard repeatedly made gains of five and ten yards through the line.
