Statistics are skeletons of history. Persons with inexact minds do not like statistics, yet without them industry would have no record. Out of many statistics published last week, most interesting were skyscraper figures in Skyscraper, house organ of Thompson-Starrett Co., builders. These figures showed that in the U.
